week from hell

Last week was one of the most miserable of my life. AC still broken during massive heat wave. It was in the upper 90s to slightly over 100 for several days in a row. So all day at work I'm sweating my ass off and ready to die. Then I get to come home to an apartment where it's over 90 degrees INDOORS. I was so miserable. Luckily my friend Desiree let me sleep on her couch for a few of those nights. The AC FINALLY got fixed on Tuesday- just as the heat wave was ending and I was heading for the beach. Just got back from Ocean City where I stayed inside most of the time because I was just sick of being outside. Watched lots of the Euro Cup. Love it. Except that Germany lost their game today even though I wore my Ballack jersey. It's okay though, they're still in it. Well, I guess I should go work on all of my unpacking and chores that I neglected last week.
