puppy love
OhmygodIneedadog. Last night my neighbor, Jen, called and asked if I could walk her dog Zoey for her, as she was going to be out of her apartment for 12 hours. So of course I said yes. I cam home from work and let myself into her place with the key I have. Zoey is part chow and came from a shelter, so it's no surprise she's a good guard dog. She's only met me once and that was months and months ago, so when I opened the door to her master's domain, she was not happy. I really thought she was going to bite me. I'm good at reading dogs' body language after working with some pretty mean ones over the years. I let her come to me out in the hallway. Thankfully when I reached for her leash, the need to pee must have overwhelmed her and she decided I was all right afterall. We walked for a good while around the grounds, jogged a little even, and I picked up her poop with the little pink poopy bags Jen has for her. All the while I'm thinking how nice this is, how much I'd love to have my own dog to walk. Or maybe I could just steal Zoey. After our walk, I refilled her water, fed her her dinner, and gave her a treat for being a good girl and not killing me. A little play time and then I reluctantly left her and came back to my puppy-less abode.

I have 2 dogs, but now I want another. No matter how many you have, you always want more. You should get a dog.
