Lauren in town

I picked Lauren up at the airport this past Wednesday- so so so good to have her back, if only for a little while. Mike came a little bit after. Went to Vinny T's for dinner. Watched Lost- Lauren paused it every 5 minutes to explain what was going on to me and Mike. On Thursday went on one crazy-assed hike in Hawk Mountain. Glad we all made it out in one piece. Our "trail" was a mass of huge rocks we hadd to climb over- straight down the mountain and then back up it. Rushed home for quick showers all around so that we wouldn't offend Lauren's work friends at dinner with our stench. Also met up with Jen and Mike C. Friday we went to Manayunk and then caught a movie (Adventureland) before meeting Olivia for dinner at Johnny Mananas. Drove Lauren to her parents the next morning- Surprise! They didn't know she was coming. So wonderful to spend time with good friends. Now back to my boredom... Hoping I can return to work after my appointment with the orthopedist on Thursday.
